Description: On the occasion of World Against Child Labour Day, celebrated on 12th June, we constantly spoke and tried to raise awareness about how to deal with situations when one comes across a child labour cases. Especially when they are employed as home helps. It also included talking about how employing a child below 14 years in any job or employing a person between 14 – 18 years in hazardous occupation is an offence and may result in jail or fine or both. Also, spoke about the recent case in Ranchi, where an 8 year old girl child was rescued from a Dhaba where she was working. The ideas was to make people aware that it is important to complain if they see a child labour case and how to do it.
